Taking a Photo

To take a photo of products on a shelf:

  1. In the task window, tap on «Take photo» - the camera window will open.
  2. Select your object, and press the round button at the bottom of the screen.

In the lower left corner of the screen is a photo counter, which shows the number of photos you have taken in a particular task.

  1. Photo taken. If you need to take several photos in the task, repeat the operation.
  2. Tap on to return to the task.

If the Internet connection on the device is active, the photos will automatically start uploading for recognition. After uploading, a marker will appear on the photo thumbnail:

  • — the photo was uploaded successfully;
  • — the photo has been successfully processed and participates in the results;
  • - The photo does not meet the photo quality criteria. Such photos are still taken into account in the visit results.

To view a photo in full screen mode, tap on the photo thumbnail.

In the photo viewer window, you can:

If the visit is already closed, deleting, retaking, or cropping a photo is not allowed.

Deleting a photo

To remove a photo from a task, tap on in the photo full screen view.

Retaking a photo

You can replace a bad photo without breaking the sequence of photos in a task. This is important when merging photos on the server, especially in the Panorama mode.

To retake a photo, tap on in full screen photo mode, and take a photo of the same products as in the poor quality photo.

Cropping a photo

You can crop part of the photo if it includes unnecessary objects.

  1. In full-screen photo mode, tap on Crop.

  2. In the application:

    Android

    • Colored round markers will appear at the corners of the photo. Highlight the area you want and tap on «OK».

    iOS

    • A rectangular area appears. Highlight the desired area of the photo, and tap on «Finish».

The photo is cropped. If necessary, cropping parameters can be changed.

Panorama mode

If the object doesn't fit the photo, you can use a Panorama:

  • in the upper right corner of the screen - on Android;
  • in the upper left corner of the screen - on iOS.

For panoramic shooting, the following modes are available: one photo, panorama from right to left, left to right, top to bottom, and bottom to top.

Example

Let's look at the panorama shooting mode from left to right, using the example of a long shelf with goods.

  1. Go to the left edge of the shelf, and take the first photo. On the left side of your screen, a translucent right side of the photo will appear. This is a hint that will help you match the objects on the screen with the objects on the translucent part of the previous photo.
  2. Take a couple of steps to the right and align the translucent part of the photo with the corresponding place on the shelves.
  3. Take another photo.
  4. Continue taking successive photographs in this manner until the entire subject has been photographed.
  5. Press the «✓» button in the lower right corner of the screen to end the shooting mode.

Photo shooting is carried out in the same manner for all other shooting modes, the only difference being in the direction.

Using a Flash

If the room is poorly lit, then you can use the flash when shooting. Click on and select the shooting mode:

  • without flash;
  • with flash;
  • automatic flash;
  • flashlight mode (Android only).
