How to take a photo

Tasks in visits most often involve taking pictures of goods. For the system to correctly recognize the photo, follow the recommendations.

Attention!

Photos taken from the screen of another device are counted as fraud.

Sharpness

  • The photo should be such that you can see the details of the packaging of the products.

  • Hold the device firmly in your hand while shooting.

  • If there is not enough light in the room, turn on the flashlight.

Angle and distance

  • Photograph the product strictly frontally.

  • Do not photograph shelves with products at an angle. The application will ask you to retake such photos.

  • Do not take pictures of products from afar.

  • Try to photograph the vertical section of the rack at one time.

Shelf numbers

  • There should not be 2 or more racks with a different number of shelves in the frame.

  • If the next rack differs in the number and level of shelves, overlap in 3 faces is not necessary.

Crop photo

If another rack gets into the frame, which has a different number of shelves, crop the photo.

Overlap

The overlap can be horizontal and vertical.

Vertical overlap should be approximately 3 faces. Horizontal - 1 full shelf.

Large rack

If the rack is high or long and does not fit into the frame, then take some more photos of the rack.

The bottom photos should capture the floor of the store a little in the frame.

Doesn't fit in height

Shoot with overlapping 3 faces :

  1. Top left shelf.
  2. Left lower segment.
  3. Right upper segment.
  4. Right lower segment.

Fits in height

Shoot from left to right 3-face overlap horizontally.

Panorama

If the shelf fits in height in one frame, you can use the «Panorama» function.

The panorama assistant will show you how to overlap, for example in 3 faces.

In panorama mode, you can take a series of photos. Part of the previous photo will be displayed as a hint.
