June 2021
In June, we finalized and added a detection of duplicate annotations while merging panoramic photos, and improved the algorithm for linking products with a price tag.
Duplicate annotations in Panorama
This month, we added the search for an intersection area between photos. Here are 4 photos merged together, each has its own annotations.
Since we are merging several photos into one, the system needs to know which annotations are repeated. If there are repetitions, the system will mark them as duplicates and will not take them into account in drawing and other calculations. The rectangles in the photo will be displayed on the portal, so that you could assess the adequacy of the duplicates selection.
For the panorama gluing, the intersection areas can be arbitrary polygons. This means that the system can glue a photo not only horizontally, but also vertically.
Photos that fall into an intersection area are marked as duplicates, and highlighted with black rectangles.
Linking products with price tags
We continue to improve the algorithm for linking products with price tags. Now, if the system finds identical products next to each other in a photo, they will be linked to the same price tag.
App Supervisor mode
IC Camera 3 will have the Supervisor mode that shows a progress of a team led by a manager. Within the section, you will be able to:
- Scroll through a summary feed of the team's visits. It reflects the main indicators, discipline tracking, suspicions of fraud, and the photos taken;
- View team visits and detailed work results;
- Assign tasks to employees for the next visit;
- Adjust routes;
- View mobile device dashboards.
User tracking
In the «Info» tab of the visit, you are now able to see how the device moved during the execution of tasks.
If a user took a fraudulent photo from a computer screen, and not from a store shelf, this can be understood from the device movements.
